## What GEHIRN.md does

Writing, partners, and mentions are the three jobs: a research-to-article pipeline, a backlink community for niche-relevant sites, and human-written Reddit comments on high-ranking threads.

It also generates structured markdown from a homepage URL:

- **COMPANY.md** — brand overview, product summary, positioning, key people, and important links
- **TONE.md** — tone-of-voice profile: formality, warmth, energy, humor axes, vocabulary guidance, and channel-specific overrides
- **DESIGN.md** — visual identity snapshot: color system, typography, and UI patterns
- **SITEMAP.md** — categorized site structure for internal linking and navigation context
- **REDDIT.md** — community signals: relevant subreddits and how the brand is discussed
- **TRENDS.md** — Reddit trending signals scored for novelty and audience fit

All output is plain markdown — readable by humans, search engines, answer engines, and large language models.

## Dashboard (authenticated)

The dashboard is the paid product. Every self-serve plan starts with a free trial — no card required.

1. **Research** — scouts Reddit for fresh signals; scores each trend for novelty and audience fit; stores them in a Trend Vault
2. **Writing** — plans and writes articles in your voice through a multi-stage pipeline (research, fact-check, write, polish, humanize, validate)
3. **Outreach** — human-written Reddit comments on high-ranking threads, reviewed before they go live
4. **Backlink Community** — find and collaborate with niche-relevant sites instead of spammy link groups
5. **Publish** — push finished articles to WordPress, Strapi, Webflow, Contentful, Sanity, Ghost, GitHub, Contao, and others

## API and integrations

- **REST API**: `/api/v1/*` — generate artifacts, fetch cached results, poll async job status (IP rate-limited, CORS-enabled)
- **MCP server**: `/api/mcp` — Model Context Protocol endpoint; use GEHIRN.md as a tool inside Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible agent

GEHIRN.md produces classically well-structured markdown — clear headings, factual claims, and direct answers — the same fundamentals that rank in search and happen to make content easy for AI systems to parse accurately, without chasing any AI-citation-specific tricks.

The markdown files it generates can be:
- Hosted as `COMPANY.md`, `TONE.md`, etc. at your repository or website root
- Embedded as system context in LLM applications
